After decades of laying down the foundation and galvanizing the groove on tour and in the studio for legends like Earth, Wind & Fire, The Crusaders, Bruce Hornsby, Al Jarreau, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, and Bette Midler, drummer, multi-instrumentalist and composer Sonny Emory is on the greatest creative roll of his career, taking charge of every last musical detail as the founder and leader of his new band, Sonny Emory’s Full Tilt.

Full Tilt is a new jazz fusion group that is a representation of the great music that influenced Emory at an early age. According to Emory, “Weather Report was one of those genre-defying groups that I loved, hence we do a cover of Elegant People on this debut project for Full Tilt.”  The band is composed of some heavy hitting music trailblazers:

Sonny Emory - Drums and Percussion

Sean Michael Ray - Bass

West Byrd - Keyboards

Brian Lopes - Sax

Theo Gkoutsidis - Guitar

Frankie Quinones - Percussion

Emory is definitely keeping jazz fusion alive and well!
